Responsibilities
Translate drawings and GD&T into effective setups for grinding and honing operations
Operate Okamoto surface, manual, and CNC grinders; configure tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches
Prove out part programs and verify with first-run and in-process measurements
Follow quality assurance procedures under AS9100 and record production/quality data
Keep equipment in prime condition via preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
Maintain a safe, organized work area and follow all safety regulations
Qualification
Required
2+ years of surface grinding experience
Proficiency with AS9100 practices and documentation
Strong conceptual, functional, and technical skills; process improvement mindset
Clear verbal communication; comfort with controls and instrumentation
Ability to apply math, geometry, and trigonometry to setups and inspection
