Banking Internal Support Manager

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality support on retail and loan operations, products, compliance, and systems through phone and email
Develop, maintain, and update retail and loan operating procedures and intranet resources
Collaborate with support departments and frontline employees to identify issues, needs, and opportunities for improvement
Deliver training through various formats, including computer-based modules, conference calls, in-person workshops, and webinars
Assist with training initiatives during bank conversions or major system changes
Partners with operations department and frontline teams to streamline processes and eliminate barriers to success
Review daily operational reports and take appropriate action as needed
Lead by example and remain accessible to assist teammates with daily questions or issues
Demonstrate strong collaboration and influence to help team achieve shared goals
Make supervisory decisions to support branches and management in researching and resolving issues
Take ownership of issues and ensure timely follow-up and resolution
Manage and complete projects from initiation through completion
Support the rollout of new or updated products, services, procedures and protocols
Adhere to Bank Policies, including the Equity Bank Business Ethic and Conduct policy, and Bank Secrecy Act
Complete all required compliance coursework
Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent
3-4 years banking experience
2+ years customer service experience
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to analyze, investigate, and achieve results
Computer proficiency in Windows-based systems
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree
5+ years banking experience
