This role is responsible for configuring, testing, and maintaining benefit enrollment cases while ensuring a seamless experience for both employers and employees.

Responsibilities

Configure and build new benefit enrollment cases in the Colonial Life Ben-Admin system based on plan documents, carrier requirements, and client needs
Maintain and update existing cases for renewals, mid-year changes, and compliance updates
Perform quality assurance testing to ensure accuracy and functionality of benefit offerings, rules, eligibility, and data mapping
Troubleshoot and resolve technical or setup issues in collaboration with the platform support team
Serve as the day-to-day contact for clients regarding system setup, open enrollment, and ongoing platform questions
Collaborate with account managers, benefits consultants, and other internal teams to gather and validate case requirements
Provide clear communication and timelines to clients throughout the build and implementation process
Conduct client and internal training sessions on system navigation, employee experience, and administrative tools
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of enrollment solutions during open enrollment and throughout the plan year

Required

Must reside in Southern California and hold an insurance license in Life & Health
2+ years of experience with benefit administration platforms
Strong understanding of group employee benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, etc.)
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Excellent communication and client service skills with a consultative, solutions-focused approach
Proficiency in Excel, data formatting, and troubleshooting common data errors
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Employee Navigator experience strongly preferred
Experience with EDI setup and troubleshooting is a plus
Life and Health Insurance License in CA
Los Angeles County, CA
