IT Support Analyst FT IT

Responsibilities
Operate as the subject matter expert regarding technology trends and the practical application of existing, new and emerging technologies
Validate all new hardware and systems configurations to ensure compliance with approved standards and guidelines
Proficient with Desktop Management solutions such as ManageEngine Endpoint Central or similar
End user device patch management, including deployment and testing
Perform connections and network cable management
Configure and update network port security
Operate as technical expert for addressing issues and responsible for problem management and root cause analysis
Provide end users support and training on computers, desktop applications and other peripherals
Supports all versions of computer operating systems, Microsoft Office and other workstation-based applications
Responsible for developing procedures to support Windows operating systems and standard corporate hardware
Act as first contact for problem resolution and support for all team members
Works with diagnostic utilities to optimize hardware performance
Works with IT personnel and end users to resolve complex issues involving multiple technical platforms
Provide hardware support, including computers, printers, and other peripherals
Maintains inventory of hardware and assures adequate stock is in place
Project management work as delegated by IT Management
Evaluates end user needs, coordinates the purchase and installation for PC hardware/software applications
Mentor junior members of the team to support the above activities
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience with desktop applications, including Windows, MS Office and SharePoint O365
Experience with desktop imaging solutions
Experience with system implementation and support
Experience working with anti-virus programs, memory management and other diagnostic utilities
Experience with A/V technologies such as Zoom rooms, Extron, Crestron, Lutron, DMX, Digital Signage, Polycom
Hands on experience with application deployment
Hands-on experience working with desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, signature pads, mobile devices, faxes, and other IT hardware
Experience working with Wyse clients, Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop applications
Experience with LAN and WAN troubleshooting and support
Stay current on technology topics and pursue opportunities to expand knowledge
Self-motivated, detail-oriented and problem solver
Must be able to work beyond normal business hours
Participate in On-Call rotations including some weekends and holidays
Preferred
Associate's degree for formal course work and work experience equivalent to a two-year degree preferred
