Lead Solutions Architect
Analytica is seeking a Lead Solutions Architect that serves as the senior technical authority for the PLANXS program and is responsible for defining, governing, and evolving the end-to-end enterprise analytics, data, and cloud architecture. This individual leads and coordinates a large, multi-disciplinary team of subject matter experts to ensure that all technical solutions align with USCIS mission objectives.

Responsibilities
Provide overall architectural leadership for enterprise data warehouse, data lake, advanced analytics, and reporting platforms
Define and enforce enterprise architecture standards, patterns, and best practices across multiple Agile teams
Lead architecture design for cloud-based, scalable, high-availability solutions in AWS
Oversee integration of transactional systems, microservices, and data services into analytics platforms
Guide modernization efforts from legacy analytics environments to cloud-native and big data architectures
Ensure solutions support advanced analytics, machine learning, and near–real-time data processing
Collaborate with Program Management to align architecture roadmaps with Agile release planning
Review and approve technical designs, ensuring solutions are secure, performant, and supportable
Serve as the primary technical interface with USCIS stakeholders, product owners, and security teams
Support Authority to Operate (ATO) activities and ensure compliance with DHS, USCIS, and federal IT standards
Mentor and coordinate large teams of SMEs, including data engineers, cloud engineers, analytics developers, and security specialists
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in enterprise IT, data, or analytics architecture
Prior experience serving as a Lead Solutions Architect, Enterprise Architect, or equivalent role
Experience supporting federal government programs or similarly regulated environments
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
Relevant certifications (cloud architecture, enterprise architecture, security, or Agile) preferred
Enterprise architecture for large-scale data and analytics platforms
Cloud solution architecture on AWS (compute, storage, data, security, monitoring)
Big data and analytics platforms (e.g., distributed processing, data lakes, streaming)
API-based data integration and data-as-a-service architectures
CI/CD, DevSecOps, and automated deployment strategies
Agile Analytics, Scrum, and Kanban delivery models
Security architecture for PII-sensitive, regulated environments
Strong written and verbal communication skills for executive-level audiences
Proven experience leading large, multi-team technical organizations
Ability to coordinate architecture decisions across multiple Agile and Kanban teams
Experience resolving complex cross-team technical dependencies and risks
Demonstrated ability to translate mission needs into actionable technical solutions
Hands-on technical background with the ability to remain actively engaged in design decisions
Preferred
experience in DHS / USCIS / federal contracting
