Peak Partners has a regional healthcare payer client seeking to hire a Cyber Security Systems Analyst who can help administer, program, maintain, implement, and support various departmental and enterprise-wide platforms with optimal security solutions in mind. The role involves configuring security tools, monitoring systems, and evaluating security needs to protect information.

Responsibilities

Configure security tools including virus software, IPS/IDS, password protectors, and vulnerability management software

Monitor systems and evaluate identified needs and use applicable tools to protect information

Report on the activities and vulnerabilities

Maintain the disaster recovery posture of the department and interact with corporate and enterprise Disaster Recovery and business continuity efforts

Evaluate Weaknesses and test all company networks to detect bad actors or external threats

Experience with monitoring and working within Cloud environments, (Azure or AWS) and experience using associated cloud tools such as Microsoft Defender, Sentinel and IAM screening tools

Experience in evaluating weaknesses and testing all company networks to detect bad actors or external threats

Experience with monitoring and working within Cloud environments, (Azure or AWS) and experience using associated cloud tools such as Microsoft Defender, Sentinel and IAM screening tools

Strong current knowledge of IT Security Monitoring and Logging systems such as Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Enterprise Security and forensic tools such as sys internals and Encase

US citizenship is required for this position as it falls under the terms of a government contract (to ensure compliance with DODPSP)
