Responsibilities

Support inbound and outbound shipments of biological materials by verifying permits, declarations, and packaging requirements in accordance with applicable domestic and international regulations

Provide guidance on international shipping requirements for biological materials, working closely with the CDC shipping office to ensure compliance and timely execution

Ensure correct biological materials and viruses are packed in each shipment, complete all required shipping paperwork, and verify accuracy prior to release

Track shipments, maintain shipping records, and upload all required documentation into the VSDB shipping database to support audit readiness and traceability

Respond promptly to shipping requests, log and forward invoices for payment in a timely manner, and support smooth coordination across internal and external stakeholders
