They are seeking a Design Engineer to support the Engineering Department by designing engineered solutions, creating 3D CAD models, and collaborating with project teams to meet product specifications and quality targets.

Responsibilities

Design engineered solutions for customer applications following best practice guidelines

Support and collaborate with multiple project teams

Create 3D CAD models and drawings following technical standards and material specifications

Define and analyze test results to confirm the functional capability of the design

Collaborate and coordinate engineering activities with German colleagues

Prepare, build, and optimize lines for prototypes and test vehicles

Interface with customer – as required for product specifications

Design product and components to meet functional, manufacturability, quality, cost, and performance targets

Support Development Engineers with necessary engineering and drafting tasks as requested

Follow all Quality Management Systems, the Environmental Management Systems, and, when applicable, support VOSS Automotive Mexico in adhering to their systems as well
