Planning and executing a summer project with leave-behind capability – providing a listing contribution to National Defense

Communicate proficiently and present findings to senior military/civilian leaders

Required

Required Security Clearance: Secret (SBI)

Have, or be pursuing a degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field

Python development, including: Astropy, Scikit-learn, SciPy

Interest in space missions, and desire to support operational space flight

Comfortable asking questions and working both individually and in dynamic team environment

Clearance: Able to receive Secret Clearance

Education pursuing Bachelor's in Engineering or Master's degree

Preferred

Pre-existing research interest related to Spacecraft Operations, Optical Space Data Exploitation, Data Exploitation and Analysis, and Infrared Detector Technology

Familiarity with computational astronomy or space dynamics

Familiarity with SAOImage DS9
