Responsibilities

Perform, review, or audit complex journal entries, account analyses, workpapers, and reconciliations

Complete month end close tasks

Assist in the consolidation of US and international entities

Assist with external audits

Prepare analysis of financial results requiring evaluation and judgment of complex situations and provide other support and recommendations for division management

Prepare budgets, projections, product cost analyses, and other complex analyses including recommendations to management, and/or implement or review internal controls

Perform research and planning according to generally accepted accounting principles, tax laws, and/or IFRS, and make recommendations to management

Lead special projects

Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles

Required

Have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Are innovative, motivated, and self-directed

Possess advanced Excel skills

Have strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles, theories, and concepts, or strong knowledge of GAAP, Tax, and/or IFRS

Bring 6+ years of professional experience in accounting, finance, or a related field

Preferred

CPA, CMA, or CFA; or Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; or MBA

Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment

Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Tax systems

Tax, audit, project, and/or cost accounting experience

International accounting experience
