As a Security Officer - Utilities Facility Patrol, you will monitor and patrol utility locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access

Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions to Allied Universal management and client representatives as directed

Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry

Document and maintain detailed records of patrols, incidents, and/or observations as required by site protocols

Collaborate with client personnel and emergency responders as needed during incidents and/or drills

Qualification

Required

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only

Preferred

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred

Customer service experience is preferred
