Responsibilities

Plan, design, and evaluate new and existing computer network systems, including LANs, WANs, and intranets
Administer and maintain the BMC Remedy AR System server and related systems
Oversee the administration and maintenance of F5 Global and Local Traffic Managers
Manage and maintain Oracle database Real-Time Application Cluster (RAC) and Grid Control
Perform security and maintenance patching on a scheduled basis and conduct quarterly security audits
Support the integration and testing of EITSM system upgrades and third-party applications
Troubleshoot network issues and provide effective solutions to enhance network performance
Create and maintain documentation related to network configurations, processes, and service records
Monitor network performance and provide statistics and reports to management
Act as a technical liaison between clients, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Minimum of 8 years of experience, preferably on Department of Defense (DoD) programs
Completion of F5 University Training Courses, including: Getting Started with BIG-IP: Part 1 – Administration, Getting Started with BIG-IP: Part 2 – Application Delivery, Getting Started with Local Traffic Manager: Part 1 – HA and Traffic Processing, Getting Started with Local Traffic Manager: Part 2 – iRules and Accelerating Traffic, Getting Started with BIG-IP DNS
Information Assurance (IA) Technician (IAT) Level II (DODM 8140)
Valid DoD Secret clearance is required
Eligibility requirements to access sensitive information, which requires US citizenship

Preferred

Microsoft Azure Administrator or equivalent
Linux+ Certification
BMC Certified Administrator: BMC Remedy IT Service Management 8.x and/or equivalent
