Responsibilities
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations of personnel, visitors, and vehicles
Provide customer service by assisting employees, contractors, and visitors while following site-specific policies and procedures
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents
Observe and report any irregularities, suspicious activities, or security-related hazards to the appropriate personnel
Support emergency response activities as required, including following evacuation or lockdown procedures when necessary
Maintain accurate logs and records of access control activities, incidents, and daily operations as directed by Allied Universal and client requirements
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
