ProAV Sales Support Specialist

D&H is a 100+ year old Employee-Owned technology distributor, offering end-to-end solutions for resellers, retailers, and their clients. The Sales Support Specialist will be responsible for receiving and entering customer purchase orders into a Sales Order Management system, ensuring speed, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Accounting

Responsibilities

Receive Purchase Orders from customers receive by email, fax, and mail
Enter Sales Orders into an Order Management System by typing in the data on the Purchase Order quickly and without mistakes
Update existing Sales Orders
Follow account-specific rules while entering Sales Orders
Interact with Sales Reps and Sales Managers
Perform additional work-related duties as assigned
Keeps work area neat, clean and hazard free
Must work in other areas, as needed for cross training and/or workload
Other related duties as assigned

Qualification

Sales Order ManagementMicrosoft Office SuiteComputer Hardware KnowledgeTouch-TypingProfessional CommunicationAdministrative DutiesAttention to Detail

Required

Must be located within 60 miles of either Harrisburg, PA or Clearwater, FL
Speed, accuracy, and attention to detail are a must for this position
Receive Purchase Orders from customers received by email, fax, and mail
Enter Sales Orders into an Order Management System by typing in the data on the Purchase Order quickly and without mistakes
Update existing Sales Orders
Follow account-specific rules while entering Sales Orders
Interact with Sales Reps and Sales Managers
Perform additional work-related duties as assigned
Keeps work area neat, clean and hazard free
Must work in other areas, as needed for cross training and/or workload
Associate's degree or higher education preferred
Basic knowledge of computer hardware
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) of programs required
Familiarity with administrative duties
Experience using office equipment, like fax machines and scanners
Professional communication skills
Attention to detail

Preferred

Knowledge of touch-typing system is strongly preferred
Typing speed and accuracy
