Responsibilities
Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location to support access control procedures
Assist in maintaining a secure environment by observing and reporting any unusual or suspicious behavior
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by answering questions and offering guidance related to access policies and procedures
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related concerns
Document and report all security-related incidents, activities, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific policies
Collaborate with site management and/or law enforcement as needed during emergencies or incidents
Follow all site-specific policies, procedures, and emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and client guidelines
Qualification
Required
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
