Responsibilities

Assist in designing and developing data warehouse solutions to support analytics needs
Collaborate with team members to gather data requirements for projects
Support the implementation of ETL processes under supervision
Help maintain database structures and optimize performance with guidance
Create simple data models and basic dashboards to visualize metrics
Participate in data quality checks to ensure integrity and accuracy
Troubleshoot basic issues related to data processing and storage

Required

Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Basic experience one (1) year in building and managing data warehouses or similar projects

Preferred

Internship or project experience related to data warehousing or analytics
Familiarity with cloud-based data warehouse platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery)
Exposure to data visualization tools such as Power BI
Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, R)
Proficiency in SQL and ETL tools
Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL)
Basic understanding of data modeling and integration techniques
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and collaboration skills
Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures
Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting
Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work
