Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain software solutions that support medical data processing, integration, and analysis across healthcare platforms
Implement and optimize data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and storing clinical and device data using standards like HL7, FHIR, and OMOP
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, FDA 21 CFR Part 11) and supports business needs
Develop and maintain APIs and data services for seamless integration with EHR systems, medical devices, and cloud platforms
Apply statistical and analytical techniques to validate data quality, support clinical insights, and improve system performance
Document software and data workflows clearly, ensuring traceability, compliance, and maintainability across development cycles
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Bioinformatics, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering or software development, preferably in healthcare
Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), with experience in building robust ETL pipelines and data APIs
Familiarity with regulated healthcare data standards (e.g., HIPAA, HL7, FHIR) and experience integrating with EHRs and medical devices
