Responsibilities
Develop and maintain stored procedures, triggers, and other database objects
Participate in report development and system integrations
Conduct database testing and debugging
Engage in code reviews and documentation of database architecture and processes
Implement and maintain database security protocols
Ensure data integrity, security, and quality
Monitor and optimize database performance
Manage multiple tasks including high-priority requests and ongoing projects
Collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and end-users to gather requirements and deliver solutions
Design, develop, and manage scalable and reliable data pipelines
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
1–3 years of experience in database design, development, and maintenance
Proficiency in MSSQL (T-SQL, Stored Procedures) or equivalent
Working knowledge of database management systems (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server)
Familiarity with data modeling, normalization, and database design principles
Understanding of performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization
Prior exposure to ETL processes and tools (experience with any ETL tool is a plus)
Comfortable working in IDEs such as Visual Studio and Snowflake
Experience with data visualization tools (DOMO preferred; Power BI and Tableau desirable)
Preferred
Knowledge of SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS
Programming experience in Python
Awareness of data privacy laws and compliance
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Eagerness to learn and a strong work ethic
