ITCON Services is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Mid-Level Quality Assurance Specialist to enhance their software testing activities. The role involves reviewing test cases and ensuring compliance with quality standards while implementing quality control practices across various projects.

Responsibilities

Review test plans, test cases, requirements, functional and design documents, and ensure accuracy and alignment with acceptance criteria
Plug into software testing activities following Agile-based methodologies, collaborating closely with Design and Development teams
Analyze and translate functional business requirements from stakeholders into detailed tasks for Design and Development teams
Lead the implementation of quality control (QC) practices across all projects, ensuring adherence to defined acceptance criteria
Ensure expert-level understanding and application of SDLC best practices throughout the development lifecycle
Serve as an Agile practitioner, applying Agile methodologies to drive efficient and effective project delivery
Assist in ISO internal audits and compliance checks to ensure programs operate in accordance with internal and corporate QC guidelines
Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential improvements and optimize quality processes
Stay updated with emerging technologies and quickly adapt to learn new technologies as required
Thrive in a collaborative team environment, contributing to a positive and motivated work culture
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, efficiently multitasking and moving them forward

Required

10+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst
Strong ability to analyze and translate functional business requirements into detailed tasks
Strong testing skills
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Expert-level understanding of SDLC and best practices
Agile practitioner with experience in Agile methodologies
Ability to quickly learn new technologies
Certified CMMI Associate and ISO 9001 experience
Experience in ISO internal auditing and compliance checks
Proven experience in implementing quality standards across teams, projects, and companies
Excellent research and analytical skills
Self-motivated and thrives in a collaborative team environment
Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks efficiently

Preferred

Experience with Federal Government Customers
Agile certification
ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification
CMMI Associate certification
