Advent Global Solutions, Inc. is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to lead development efforts for ITOM modules and improve operational workflows within ServiceNow. The role involves collaboration with IT teams and generating reports to ensure smooth IT operations.

Responsibilities

Lead Development Efforts for ITOM Modules:
Discovery: Implement and maintain the Discovery module to help automatically identify and map IT infrastructure, devices, and services in your organization s network
Event Management: Design and configure the Event Management module to collect and process event data from infrastructure and applications, helping IT teams detect, manage, and resolve issues quickly
Advanced Configurations/Customizations: Develop advanced scripts, integrations, and custom features to extend the functionality of ITOM modules as per business needs
Operational Management:
Work on improving operational workflows within ServiceNow to ensure the organization s IT operations run smoothly and efficiently
Integrate Discovery and Event Management with other ServiceNow modules (like Incident Management and Change Management) for seamless service delivery and problem resolution
Collaboration and Reporting:
Collaborate with various IT teams to ensure that the ITSM (IT Service Management) modules align with the operational goals
Generate reports and dashboards for event and incident management to provide real-time insights into the health of your IT environment

Qualification

ServiceNow DevelopmentITOM ExpertiseITSM KnowledgeData Analysis & ReportingCollaboration

Required

ServiceNow Development Experience: Familiarity with ServiceNow s Application Studio, Scripting (e.g., JavaScript, Glide Record, Glide Ajax), Flow Designer, and REST/SOAP integrations
ITOM Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Discovery, Event Management, and possibly Cloud Management or other ITOM modules
ITSM Knowledge: Understanding of ServiceNow s IT Service Management modules, particularly Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Service Catalog
Data Analysis & Reporting: Proficiency in creating reports and dashboards within ServiceNow to track IT operations health
