Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities

Monitor and control access to the residential community to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment

Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering the location, following established protocols

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed

Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns

Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or irregularities according to established procedures

Communicate with residents, guests, and property management to address concerns and provide information as needed

Required

Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience, or 1 year of law enforcement experience, or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
