Program Manager
Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is a leader in life changing breakthroughs in cancer research and patient care. The Program Manager II will work closely with the DF/HCC Pathfinder team to manage complex programs that support educational and training initiatives for early-stage cancer researchers, ensuring program objectives are met and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
Manage moderately complex programs that span multiple departments, coordinating related projects to support cross-departmental initiatives
Make informed decisions about resource allocation and project timelines, with some autonomy in resolving operational challenges
Engage with a broader range of stakeholders, including department heads and project leads, to gather requirements and provide updates
Plan and manage program activities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and efficient use of resources
Track program progress and performance metrics, report findings to stakeholders and recommend improvements
Maintain accurate program documentation and ensure compliance with institutional policies and procedures
Identify potential risks to program success and implement mitigation strategies to address them
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in business administration, management, healthcare, or a related field required
Five (5) years of relevant experience with progressively increasing responsibility of which at least two (2) years must be in program management OR comparable roles required
Solid understanding of program management methodologies and practices
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Proficiency in project management software and tools
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
Preferred
An academic foundation in the natural sciences
Experience within an academic or medical institution and/or higher education
