Our client, PRS, is seeking an experienced Senior Azure Cloud DBA to assist in the implementation of cloud-based systems for large corporations. This role involves working independently and collaboratively on hands-on implementation and may include design and architecting responsibilities.

Assist in the implementation of their cloud-based systems used by large corporations
Work alongside highly-skilled resources within a specialized technology division
Provide solutions to Fortune 500 companies
Work independently as well as collaboratively
Hands-on implementation required
Design/architect/lead skills a plus
Qualification
Required
5-10+ years of hands-on experience with SQL Sever design/implementation/maintenance
Experience with Azure SQL and SQL Server
Creation/configuration/administration of SQL Servers in a virtual environment
Experience with Database migration from SQL Server VM's to Azure
Management of large and growing databases (TB+)
Experience with Monitoring, performance tuning, SQL Server indexing and D/R strategies
Preferred
Experience with Cosmo DB
Design/architect/lead skills
