Environmental Analyst III - Healthy Homes Accessible Assistance Specialist - Limited Service

The Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation is seeking to hire two versatile and driven candidates to join their team as Accessible Assistance Specialists. This role involves providing administrative support to projects funded through the ANR Healthy Homes Initiative, assisting underserved Vermonters in accessing funding for essential home repairs.

Law Enforcement

Responsibilities

Acting as the primary contact for public inquiries about the program, funding opportunities, and guiding recipients through their award to ensure successful project completion
Collaborating with internal and external partners to support understanding of necessary permits, regulatory processes, and ensure projects meet the terms of their awards
Ensuring funds are being administered in compliance with program rules and regulations
Creating program documents, reviewing and approving deliverables and invoices, and tracking projects
Updating and improving the ANR Healthy Homes Initiative, including implementing process improvements, long-term planning, and database management

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree or higher in a biological-life or physical science, engineering, a social science, data science, or an environmental or natural resources field
Three (3) years or more of experience in an engineering, environmental, social science, data science, or natural resources field
