Responsibilities

Provide basic occupational health services related to respiratory protection fitting and training for appropriate identified employees in Cook Childrens Health Care System (CCHCS)
Provides respiratory protection fitting services in the Occupational Health office and at CCHCS locations as needed

Qualification

Medical Assistant certificationOSHA 1910.134 knowledgeClinicalMedical TerminologyBasic computer skillsCustomer service skills

Required

Medical Assistant, EMT-P, LVN or similar, minimum 2 years experience
Clinical and Medical Terminology knowledge
Basic computer skills
A positive attitude and good customer service skills
Must be available to work various shifts and locations to cover a 24 hr workforce
Ability to work independently in the field
Must be able to drive/travel to CCHCS locations for work
Must possess a valid and clear Texas drivers license and insurance

Preferred

Knowledge of OSHA 1910.134 Respiratory Protection Certification/Licensure
