Responsibilities

Develop and execute a long-term people strategy aligned with Virginia Transformer’s growth, manufacturing footprint, and business objectives

Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team on organizational design, leadership effectiveness, and workforce risk

Lead and develop a high-performing HR leadership team across corporate and plant environments

Own enterprise talent strategy across executive, engineering, professional, and hourly manufacturing roles

Partner with business leaders on workforce planning tied to capacity expansion, productivity, and future skills

Lead executive succession planning and leadership pipeline development

Ensure recruiting, onboarding, and internal mobility processes scale with growth

Own compensation philosophy, job architecture, and pay governance across the enterprise

Ensure market-competitive, internally equitable compensation aligned with performance and affordability

Oversee benefits strategy, executive compensation support, and incentive programs

Partner with Finance on labor cost planning, productivity, and long-range workforce economics

Ensure compliance with all employment, labor, immigration, and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions

Provide executive oversight of employee relations, investigations, and corrective action frameworks

Establish consistent policies, practices, and decision-making standards across locations

Mitigate people-related risk while maintaining fairness, credibility, and accountability

Champion a culture of accountability, safety, respect, and performance

Lead engagement, retention, and leadership development initiatives across hourly and salaried populations

Support front-line leadership capability in a 24/7 manufacturing environment

Drive alignment between stated values and daily leadership behaviors

Oversee HR operations, shared services, and HR technology platforms (HRIS, ATS, performance systems)

Drive data-driven decision-making through workforce analytics and reporting

Ensure HR processes are scalable, efficient, and consistent across plants and corporate functions

Support CEO and Board needs related to executive compensation, succession, and governance

Provide clear, candid insight on organizational health, leadership risk, and workforce trends

Contribute to enterprise strategy discussions as a full business partner—not a support function

Hire and launch BAT
