Responsibilities

Monitors daily productivity performance including team member coaching and addresses corrections where needed

Interviews, hires, and trains employees. Directs work, appraises performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

Go-to for troubleshooting issues and resolutions with CMC Patient Registration team members

Maintains updated knowledge of industry, regulatory and reimbursement issues and of payer requirements. Keeps AVA team abreast of key changes

Assists with roll out of new policies and procedures

Required

High school diploma or equivalent is required

At least 1 year of medical insurance authorization supervisory experience, OR 3-5 years of medical insurance authorization experience with demonstrated progression

Ability to multi-task and support numerous referrals/priorities at one time

Ability to work in a fast past environment

High degree of self-discipline in maintaining productivity expectations

Must be detail-oriented and have a high degree of quality focus
