Responsibilities
Lead the full lifecycle of HVAC projects for multi-family residential developments, including planning, design review, procurement, installation, and commissioning
Develop detailed project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or similar tools to ensure timely delivery
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to align project goals and specifications
Prepare and review construction estimates utilizing heavyBid or comparable estimating software to establish accurate budgets
Oversee site activities ensuring adherence to safety protocols, building codes, and industry standards
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation teams effectively
Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes while maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders
Utilize construction management software like ProCore and Bluebeam for document control, progress tracking, and reporting
Monitor project progress through regular site visits and updates; address issues proactively to keep projects on track
Ensure proper project documentation including daily reports, safety records, and compliance documentation
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in construction management with a focus on HVAC systems within multi-family residential projects
Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and tools such as HeavyBid or equivalent software
Expertise in project scheduling using Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software; ability to develop realistic timelines
Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings related to HVAC systems
Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and regulatory compliance requirements
Excellent project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively
Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Civil 3D for civil aspects of projects
Ability to read contracts thoroughly and manage change orders efficiently
Strong time management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines without compromising quality or safety
