They are seeking a CNC Field Service Engineer for a heavy-travel role, where the individual will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and troubleshooting CNC machines while providing customer training and on-site support.

Responsibilities
Install, commission, and troubleshoot CNC machines
Perform ball screw replacements, alignments, and precision leveling
Work with hydrostatic ways, servo motors, drives, and control systems
Handle electrical work up to 480v and all related diagnostics
Perform mechanical repairs and complete PM service
Read electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic schematics
Provide customer training and on-site support
Document service findings and maintain clear communication with the team
Qualification
Required
Extensive CNC field service background
Strong electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic skills
Experience with servo systems, controls, and machine geometry
Ability to travel 95% of the time with some international trips and be gone for a couple weeks at a time as needed
Strong problem-solving and customer-facing skills
