Required

Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in data engineering

Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in leading a data engineering or technical team

Proven ability in managing data-related projects and driving strategy

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Hadoop, or MapReduce

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and services such as S3, Glue, Databricks, and DBT

Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and data lake architectures (e.g., Snowflake, Fabric, RedShift)

Familiarity with streaming data and event-driven architecture design patterns

Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance standards

Experience with version control and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub, GitLab) and project management platforms (e.g., Jira)

Exposure to machine learning concepts and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Excel)

Collaborate effectively to solve complex challenges

Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical staff

Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data responsibly

Exhibit strong prioritization and organizational skills in fast-paced environments

Demonstrate curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset
