Responsibilities

Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, requests for proposals, and other legal documents
Provide legal support and advice to product and business teams
Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and protection regulations, including the EU and UK GDPR
Balance risks in business processes and decision making

Qualification

Required

Juris Doctor (J.D.) and membership in one US state bar (or Canadian equivalent)
2+ years of experience as a tech legal counsel (SaaS)
Strong negotiating skills with both legal and business counterparties
Experience negotiating tech agreements (NDA, SaaS Agreement, EULA, MSA, SOW, DPA, etc.)
Experience building trustful relationships with internal clients
Demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations
Ability to work independently
