HR Receptionist - Kansas City

MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, and professional HR Receptionist to join their Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will provide front desk support, direct visitors, and assist with various administrative tasks while embodying the company's core values.

Responsibilities

Provides agency phone support from a front desk setting
Directs visitors, consumers, and vendors with various needs
Must ensure that all policies and procedures are followed
Provides information regarding programs and agency events
Responsible for receiving and sending Fed-Ex, over-night, and other priority mailings
Maintains visitor daily sign-in/out logs
Assist HR department with filing, coping documents, as well as file maintenance as needed
Responsible for notification to upper management of any suspicious person, packages, or happenings within the facility
Checks over-night and weekend messages daily, taking messages and distributing as appropriate
Required to answer the phone as follows: "Thank you for calling MERS/Goodwill, how may I help you."
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

High School diploma
the ability to read at a six-grade level or higher
Must be detailed oriented
exceptional verbal communication skills
Must be polite and friendly to all visitors, guests, consumers, co-workers, and vendors

Preferred

a minimum of six months office experience
