Responsibilities

Analyze cybersecurity risks and recommend mitigation strategies
Design and implement secure system architectures
Conduct Testing & Evaluation (T&E) to validate system security
Maintain cybersecurity controls throughout the system lifecycle
Strengthen and modernize legacy system security
Apply frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and MITRE D3FEND
Perform vulnerability assessments using ACAS and apply remediations
Implement and enforce security controls across networks, hardware, and software
Provide threat intelligence insights and stay current on emerging threats
Lead system architecture design, modeling, integration, and testing
Architect, configure, optimize, and troubleshoot VMware environments including ESXi 7/8, vCenter, and Horizon VDI

Required

BS and 10 years of related, relevant experience. An additional 4+ years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement
Extensive hands-on experience with the VMware ESX Family, including ESXi, vCenter, and VMware Horizon VDI
Combined 10 years of full-time professional experience across: System hardening against cyber threats; Networking and virtualization technologies; Cybersecurity frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK or MITRE D3FEND; Threat intelligence and identifying emerging threats; Vulnerability assessments using ACAS; Remediation of vulnerabilities, including vendor patching on Linux and Windows; Designing, implementing, configuring, and enforcing security controls across networks, hardware, and software
Must meet DoD 8570.01-M Baseline Certification, minimum IAT Level III, in accordance with DFARS 252.239-7001
Any one of the following is acceptable (or must be obtained within 60 days of start): CASP CE / SecurityX, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, CCSP
Active Top Secret clearance or higher, with SCI eligibility
Current U.S. Passport, or ability to obtain one prior to start
Travel may be required up to 10%
