Responsibilities
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as appropriate
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the well-being of the location
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the auto center and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues
Monitor for suspicious activity or potential hazards within the auto dealership environment and report findings according to Allied Universal protocols
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff, addressing questions or concerns related to security-related matters
Assist in managing access points and observing entry and exit of vehicles and individuals to help to deter unauthorized access
Document observations and incidents clearly and promptly as required by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
This is primarily a driving post
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
