Responsibilities
Lead all on-site construction activities for ground-up data center projects, including civil, structural, architectural, and MEP scopes
Coordinate and manage daily activities of subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and field personnel
Develop and maintain detailed look-ahead schedules in partnership with the project management team
Enforce safety protocols and ensure strict compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
Oversee quality control to ensure work aligns with plans, specifications, and mission-critical requirements
Collaborate closely with Project Managers, engineers, owners, and commissioning teams to resolve field issues
Support inspections, testing, commissioning activities, and final turnover
Track field productivity, manpower loading, and material deliveries
Identify constructability challenges and proactively drive solutions
Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and site documentation
Qualification
Required
8+ years of commercial ground-up construction experience
Prior experience as a Data Center Superintendent or on mission-critical/data center projects strongly preferred
Strong understanding of complex construction sequencing and high-level MEP coordination
Proven leadership experience managing large subcontractor teams and aggressive schedules
Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications
Proficiency with construction technology such as Procore, Bluebeam, and scheduling tools
