Product Owner II

Responsibilities
Owns the vision and the definition of the product. Serves as the voice of the customer. Provides guidance to concentrate the Scrum Team(s) effort on correct priorities based on business value
Defines and conveys the vision to the team(s) in order to address client requirements to meet business objectives
Accountable for the creation of and the integrity of the product backlog. Prioritizes and leads grooming of the product backlog
Works in partnership with the Scrum Master(s) to ensure items are worked on in accordance with the product backlog. Serves as the primary point of contact for questions from the team(s)
Accepts delivery of working product from the Scrum Teams(s). Reviews and validates Scrum Team(s) working product. Socializes the delivery of business value and outcomes of the iteration to various stakeholders

Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly
Proficient in working with API's, data handling, and back-end development
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to self-serve to address challenges
Quickly learn new technologies and processes, while influencing stakeholders with clear and effective communication across business and technology topics
Partners closely with Business Partners to understand WHAT the business needs, the value and impact of a solution, and the target Customer experience to achieve
Works closely with Technology partners to solution HOW to meet those requirements and build out capabilities
Performs data analysis, process mapping, logic derivation, market analysis as needed to groom features and stories in the team backlog

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience
In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered
