Responsibilities

The Project Manager will assist the Implementation Team with completing projects correctly and on time to meet their 'go-live' dates

The Project Manager will be the main contact for client interaction and project planning activities such as client communications, resource planning, reporting, and documentation creation

You will bring the ability to coordinate with all partners: clients, vendors, carriers, solutions engineers, software engineers, and more

You will work in a collaborative team environment where you will bring your own expertise to execute projects with demanding deadline expectations

You will act as a project leader of the implementation team by:

Setting up and managing a portfolio of projects

Leading project meetings to assure expectations and deadlines are clearly communicated internally and externally

Creating functional specifications, technical specifications, and system setup documents

Monitoring and delivering on deadlines, milestones, and status updates

Monitoring and reporting on job specific tasks that are a work in progress

Ensuring the project's RateLinx system is successfully delivered on time and meets the client's custom requirements that mirrors our responsive, customer service, values-based company structure

Supporting all RateLinx products during implementation, prioritizing work tasks, and staying organized to meet customer go-live dates

You will provide an outstanding customer experience by:

Focusing on the two goals of delivering projects on time to happy clients

Acting as the primary point of contact for assigned customers

Maintaining a reliable, trusting relationship with the customers

Responding to client communications in professional, courteous, and prompt manner

Required

Experienced Project Manager who knows how to plan and take action

Experience creating functional specification documents

Technical and analytical focus while working within established standards and guidelines

Ability to present new ideas and concepts after careful analysis and testing

Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Ability to function effectively in a team environment

Demonstrate curiosity, understanding, accountability, desire for details, and thrive under pressure

Ability to handle multiple, simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality

Ability to make decisions that support company guidelines authoritatively and quickly

Task-based and technically oriented communication

Excellent communicator who can teach others how to use software

Exhibit excellent customer service skills

Self-starter

Ability to work until tasks are completed

Experience in the logistics and transportation industry
