Responsibilities

Provide total contract management of each project assigned, including coordination of the detailing, scheduling, delivery and costs of products and services
Oversee the customer and project team in establishing the sequential steps involved in all processes with the scope of the project and adapt schedules and work tasks accordingly
Communicate with customers regarding project details involving detailing, fabrication and delivery issues
Review rebar shop drawings and direct the revision of drawings as needed
Schedule the detailing and delivery of required products and services with the contractor, detailers, and production team
Answer customer questions related to assigned projects and resolve any problems that may occur
Perform special projects and complete all other duties as assigned or requested for the support of the organization

Qualification

Rebar DetailingProject ManagementAutoCADConstruction ManagementCommunication Skills

Required

Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline
Generally 5-8 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in a related field
Certification is required in some areas

Preferred

Associate's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineer, Construction Management, related degree and/or equivalent work experience
2 + years of project management experience and 1 + year of construction project management experience
Basic knowledge of AutoCad or MicroStation
Ability to read & understand structural & architectural drawings
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills combined with the ability to meet deadlines and mult-task in fast-paced environment
