The role involves maintaining accurate records, ensuring benefits are administered correctly, and supporting technology modernization projects.

Responsibilities
Provide operational support for member and employer services related to public employee benefit programs
Learn and apply complex eligibility, enrollment, and benefit distribution requirements
Maintain and update highly sensitive member demographic and benefit account data
Translate complex information into clear, easy-to-understand formats for different audiences
Support technology modernization efforts, including data research and cleanup during conversions
Assist with operational tasks such as processing retirement benefit estimates
Support customer service functions, including member contact center calls and outreach initiatives
Participate in special projects such as locating lost members or improving customer experience efforts
Qualification
Required
Ability to understand, analyze, and clearly explain complex information
Strong attention to detail and comfort working with large data sets
Analytical, organized, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
Proven customer service experience and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
Preferred
Benefits administration, insurance, or public sector/state experience is highly preferred, but not required
