Kittle Property Group is offering an Architect Intern opportunity for Summer 2026. In this role, you will be part of the Design Team, contributing to multi-family housing projects and gaining hands-on experience in architectural practices.

Responsibilities

Provide preliminary design drawings for tax credit applications
Use urban planning, landscape, and civil engineering practices to detail community sizes, unit quantities, and amenities
Prepare scale drawings of site layouts and elevations
Collaborate with estimating to ensure design alignment with construction budgets
Consult with clients to determine project requirements
Translate schematic drawings into construction documents
Attend project-related meetings
Verify interdepartmental commitments and agency requirements
Collaborate with engineering consultants during design and construction phases
Develop and read construction specifications
Assist architects in reviewing shop drawings and submittals
Attend supervised Jobsite Visits

Qualification

AutoCADRevitArchitectural designProject managementProblem-solvingMath skillsCommunication skillsOrganizational skills

Required

Enrolled in an architectural curriculum
Strong organizational and project management skills
Analytical with excellent problem-solving abilities
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office tools
Ability to read, write, and analyze complex documents
Effective communication and persuasive skills
Solid math skills with an understanding of geometry and statistics

Preferred

Experience in designing multi-family, hotel, or multi-story units is preferred
Knowledge of general construction practices
