They are seeking a Machine Learning Scientist to develop state-of-the-art models for real-time speech enhancement and collaborate with various teams to integrate research into production devices.

Responsibilities
Develop & ship state-of-the-art models for real-time speech enhancement, source separation, dereverberation, acoustic scene understanding and personalization
Push the frontier of on-device learning: distillation, quantization/low-bit inference, sparsity, neural architecture search, and hardware-aware training
Own the full stack from Keras/TensorFlow research prototypes → C/C++ → integration with embedded/DSP pipelines (latency budgets in the single-digit ms, tight memory/power constraints)
Prototype quickly: get listening tests into user hands, iterate with clinicians
Design rigorous evals beyond PESQ/STOI: A/B experiments with users. ML-based psychoacoustic metrics. Help conduct clinical trials
Collaborate deeply with firmware, DSP, acoustics, audiology, and product to land research in production devices
