1+ years expBrown & Brown is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to join their growing team in Troy, MI. The Personal Lines Account Manager will service an assigned book of business, providing insurance solutions and acting as an advisor to clients while managing new and renewal policies.

Responsibilities
Write all new business policies
Maintain and service all renewal policies
Prepare renewal reviews and quotes as needed
Assist insureds with all service needs (i.e. questions, changes, cancellations, etc.)
Identify competitive carriers for remarketing existing business to help with account retention
Account round existing clients, and cross sell other departments within the organization
Ensure all quotes are accurate and complete prior to being proposed
Develop and maintain client relationships to identify changing needs in account coverage
Actively seek out new business referrals: current clients, friends, family, teammates etc
Responsible for documentation control (scanned, paper, electronic, verbal, etc.)
Knowledge of Quality Control Compliance standards for department
Maintain a commitment to personal and professional growth and development
Qualification
Required
Property & Casualty License or ability to obtain with 6 months
High School diploma or GED
Proficient with MS Office Suite
Exceptional telephone demeanor and strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Preferred
Insurance Designation (ie RHU, CISR, CIC, ARM)
Associate or bachelor's degree in a business or financial related discipline
Knowledge of agency management systems
1-2 years' experience in similar position
