Responsibilities
Perform proper quality bag checks
Read production sheets and make adjustments as necessary on assigned lines
Make boxes if required, finish in a timely manner and keep the production line properly supplied
Keep color meters filled with proper material and empties color meter properly when changing colors
Uses quality stamp properly and consistently
Stacks finished goods properly on pallets, places proper protective wrapping for storage and completes pallet tags
Recording finished goods produced
Ability to read production schedule
Maintains assigned work area and keeps it clean and orderly
Follows company safety guidelines, policies and procedures
Uses the correct tools for the job i.e. safety knife/protective gloves
Shutting down machinery when necessary
Wear all the required personal protective equipment; safety shoes, glasses and hearing protection
Maintains good attendance to work
Assists co-workers when needed
Qualification
Required
Education - High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
Preferred
Prefer previous work experience with machines in a manufacturing setting
