Group Sales Manager

Responsibilities
Maintain and nurture a portfolio of accounts to maximize business for the hotel
Travel to key markets to develop new business and maintain existing relationships
Promote high visibility of Hotel through active involvement in industry associations and trade shows
Negotiate, prepare, and review terms of contracts for Hotel services in compliance with Hotel billing and rate guidelines and under supervision of Director of Sales
Meet or exceed targets for prospecting of sales opportunities and targets for revenue streams, as determined by Hotel management
Qualification
Required
Possess a solid background of at least 2 years in hospitality sales
Have an in depth understanding of the business, competitive landscape and the local market
Are personable, persuasive and posses excellent verbal and written communication skills
Are organized and can multi-task
Have a passion for selling and loves to foster long term relationships with prospective guests
