Responsibilities

Explore and answer what to scale up in terms of effective compute and useful data
Develop new scaling paradigms for model training and data handling
Investigate methods for large-scale and long-time training while maintaining stability
Engage in hands-on engineering work, from data preparation to evaluating results and redesigning experiments
Collaborate with team members to spark new ideas and ensure solid execution and results analysis

Required

Strong engineering skills with passion on model-hardware co-design
Expert in ML and large model scaling, familiar with all kinds of scaling laws
Familiar with distributed training, multi-GPU neural network training and experience on optimizing ML training efficiency
Strong communication skills
Ability to concisely and accurately share knowledge with teammates
Work ethic and strong prioritization skills
Hands-on experience with Python
Experience with JAX
Experience with PyTorch
Experience with Rust
