Coordinates the activities of the nursing staff, the patient, the physician, other hospital departments and visitors
Performs general receptionist and clerical duties in order to facilitate efficient functioning of the nursing unit
Qualification
Required
Requires good keyboarding and PC skills
Good communication and telephone skills
Knowledge of medical terminology
Proficiency in use of various office machinery
Must be able to multitask and set priorities
Preferred
1-2 years of secretarial experience is preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent experience, additional education preferred
