Responsibilities
To follow, enforce, comply, and adhere to all rules, policies, procedures, standards, and recipes at all times
Greet guests when entering the restaurant with a pleasant smile and superior customer service
Answer phone and record reservations as requested using good judgement and precise timing
Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and wellbeing of guests
Seat guests by finding a clean, available table, pulling out chairs, and placing clean menu in front of guest
Assist managers in opening and closing of the restaurant
Attend to and anticipate guest’s needs
Control heavy volume at restaurant entrance
Assist servers when needed
Familiarization with menu and knowledge of daily specials
Thank every guest upon departure, invite them to return, and wish them a fond farewell
Knowledge of daily function sheet, in-house VIP's, current activities, hours of operation throughout the hotel, etc
Qualification
Required
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to multitask in a high-volume setting
Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Preferred
One year of experience in a similar position preferred
Fine dining, or steak house experience, preferred
