Responsibilities
Proficient in the installation, programming, integration and maintenance of the following typical Traffic components: Detection Systems, Traffic Signals, Edge-Computing Technology, Emergency Vehicle Preemption, Transit Signal Priority, Adaptive Traffic Signal Control, Communications Networks, and Transportation Safety Solutions, Cabinets, UPS
Proficient with Broward County and Palm Beach County hardware and installation specifications
Perform the maintenance function for traffic signal controllers and cabinets, and perform basic troubleshooting of both wiring problems in cabinets as well as underground
Troubleshoot and repair wiring problems in the street, up to and including the replacement of conductors in conduit, test and splice loop detectors in the street
Qualification
Required
