Responsibilities

Deploy and manage Cisco Secure Access (SSE) solutions for assigned customers
Migrate customers from existing SSE/VPN platforms to Cisco Secure Access
Provide post-deployment support, documentation, and knowledge transfer to customer teams
Continuously learn new Cisco Secure Access, SSE, and zero-trust capabilities and implement them in customer environments
Learn and implement integrations across Cisco Secure Access, firewall ecosystems, and cloud security tools to ensure end-to-end policy alignment

Required

3–5 years of experience as a Network Security Engineer
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPN, DNS, NAT)
Hands-on experience with firewalls (Cisco ASA/Firepower or similar)
Experience supporting or deploying secure remote access/VPN or SSE/SASE solutions
Ability to troubleshoot L2/L3 network and security issues using logs/events
Strong communication and teamwork skills in customer-facing environments

Preferred

Deploy, configure, and manage Cisco ASA and Firepower (FTD/FMC) firewalls, including ACLs, NAT, VPNs, IPS, and threat-prevention policies
Perform firewall migrations, upgrades, rule cleanup/optimization, and resolve incidents using log and event analysis
Configure and troubleshoot secure remote access solutions such as Cisco AnyConnect/Secure Client, SSL/IPSec VPNs, and site-to-site tunnels
Deploy and support Cisco Secure Access (SSE) solutions and assist with migrations from legacy VPN/SSE platforms
Ensure consistent policy alignment across firewall, secure access, and cloud security environments, and provide documentation and knowledge transfer
Implement and manage SASE/SSE platforms (e.g., Zscaler, Prisma Access, Cisco Umbrella) including DNS-layer security and cloud access controls
Work with SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and threat-detection tools to monitor and mitigate risks
Apply strong routing and switching skills to integrate firewalls in customer networks and support L2/L3 troubleshooting across core network protocols
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain secure and reliable network operations
