The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping financial strategy, preparing budgets, forecasts, and performance reports while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Work closely with the Senior Management Team to prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and performance reports that drive organisational success
Produce monthly management accounts and KPI reporting
Lead on restricted fund administration and investment analysis
Build strong relationships with budget holders, guiding them through financial principles and creating bespoke reporting solutions
Act up as Head of Finance, contribute to statutory accounts, and develop innovative processes that enhance efficiency
Qualification
Required
A accountancy professional (CIMA, CIPFA) with strong analytical skills and a proactive mindset
Experience in management accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting
Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with finance systems
A collaborative communicator who can translate complex financial data into actionable insights
A positive and supportive team member who has the confidence and ability to use initiative
Preferred
Experience of Xledger would be advantageous
Consideration may be given for a part qualified accountant - in which case salary would be adjusted based on level of qualification
